….I think it would be wrong to sell him & I don’t think we will. Onana is an asset, not a sellable asset.

Letting him go would be Suprise. And after yesterdays display Ten Hag will want better than Onana to that midfield of theirs. It was totally out played By Wolves. That was a Suprise.….I think it would be wrong to sell him & I don’t think we will. Onana is an asset, not a sellable asset.
Its getting too late in the window for us to use it meaningfully and not over pay or waste it, I agree. That said though I don't think we will be able to stop him if he gets wind of offers, player power these days and he knows his career isn't going to be made here this is a stepping stone.
Respectfully disagree. Caicedo has looked pretty ordinary every time I’ve seen him.
Why is there always a clamour to sell anyone we have with potential because he hasn’t turned into Zidane within 3 months of arriving?
Same source as the Iwobi ones?He turned down both Chelsea and Arsenal in January.

They didn’t even bid, how could he have “turned them down”? That would suggest they not only bid, but we accepted the bid.
That’s him, what Onana did on the weekend wasn’t a masterclass it’s what you expect to see when you spend £30m on a player. That’ll be the Kevin de Bruyne who got legged out of Chelsea for being “just potential” will it?
Again it doesnt matter what we sell him for, the squad will never see the money.
Mosh is losing millions on the club, it’ll disappear there somewhere.
Where’s the Onana money will be the shout.
We need to keep him until more wages are off the books
I hope you’re right, but I get the feeling Mosh is looking to claw back what he canWe seemed to reinvest the Richarlison money on a 30 million pound Onana that is now worth more than Richarlison.
I don’t think we are in a position to be turning down profits of 30 - 40 million from sales of 60 - 70 million.
Especially for a player like Onana, who has been half decent but is not an absolutely essential player that makes the world of difference in the way that Pickford or DCL do.
We desperately need a striker and an upgrade in a load of other positions as well.
People seem obsessed with resale value, but then cack themselves when there’s an opportunity to sell a player for 100% profit.
Done properly, and the sale of Onana gives us the opportunity to strengthen an incredibly weak relegation threatened squad.
Christ almighty - If you're not his agent or his nan then give it a restThat was a midfield masterclass.
I think some of the posters saying he was "anonymous" should watch that seeing as they clearly didnt watch the match.
£91mil transfer record and even then id be unhappy if we sold him.
