Yes and no. Dean did put it on and rotated between Wainwrights, Sharps Atlantic or Doom Bar, kept pretty well too, but it really wasn't drank that often.
It's on occasionally now and still kept well, but I usually only know when I get a text telling me it's on. If it's not on, he has some bottles in or I drink the lager etc.
I quite like the pub because it's got a solid local clientèle who frequented the Tap all mixed in with the passing trade from the Baltic etc. Dean runs it very well too!
I didn't actually check today as my wife went in and I had a Guinness.

Yes mate.
Just in the beer garden upstairs looking over the the hills.
Beautiful place to have a pint.
Ye, Fly in the loaf shut
Sad. I used to live just up the road on Myrtle Street for a bit, across from The Caledonia. Would walk down to Fly in the Loaf to watch some footie and have a chat with Dom (who hasn't worked there in a few years from what I understand). Was last there this past April.
The Twisted Wheel was a northern soul club late 60s/70s, I wonder if there's a connection ?View attachment 97627
Terrible beer pump for a really good beer - Sunday Sessions / Twisted Wheel 4.5 % ( Wigan )
Not normally a big fan of “ floral “ IPA’s as they can sometimes overpower the beer, but they got it just right with this one.

Good to hear!! When I met them Fiona was at Thomas Rigby’s.He’s got the Bridewell now off Wood St with Fiona.
They’re doing very well by all accounts.
I think a lot of their beers are music based so probably
It’s a very over looked part of the U.K. around there, stunning countryside and some beautiful little villages.
A bit further up on the coast from Arnside, there’s a village called Silverdale, which has the wonderful Silverdale Hotel.
Top notch local beers and standout food.
I love it up here mate.
Was completely unaware of this part of the world until I met my Mrs (Shes from Roose).
The train journey from Liverpool up to here’s is stunning.
I’ve not been to silverdale yet but will give it a go.
Ulverston is a great town to go drinking in, and I’ve heard Dalton has a lot of boozers but not been round there yet.
