Well you guess wrong Johnny.

I am naturally right footed but could play either right or left of midfield and a left sided centre back as I got older if needs be…it was not my preference obviously but I could do the basics with my left foot because that is what I was coached as I was growing up.

As a professional footballer he should be able to take a ball in his stride and push on once or twice a game even if it is his weaker foot and that is what I was referring to.

I was also was a right footed player, who preferred to play left side as I could kick with both feet.
Two of the best left backs I ever watched were Andreas Brehme of Germany, and Maldini of Italy, both with great left feet and yet right footed.
Brehme kicked with his left foot all his career, and yet scored the winner in the 1990 world cup with a right footed penalty.
The point I was trying to make is,it is not so easy when you are asked to play wide left when you have never played there before

I never want to see him play at CB again, he's not got the positioning or arial ability. infact I don't think I even want to see him as fullback because he offers zero as a modern fullback either.

He's one of the worst defenders I've seen play for the club. I'm not overreacting. He's never been good, and he's getting worse. He can only perform to a reasonable level as a left back.
