Yeah, I think the Groves fight will have given his matchmaker a big fright. One last big fight will appeal to Froch though. I think he feels like he's never had a career defining fight!

I had a feeling Froch would make an offer to save face. One that Groves wouldn't be able to accept.

UFC fighters get tested, quite a few are banned for PED's, and Nick Diaz for weed in his system.

To be honest, the majority of top athletes in every sport are on some form of illegal PEDs.

apart from the fighters at the highest level, I find UFC/cage fighting to be full of wannabe hardmen lids, the sort you see strutting around the town centre in XXL tap out t shirts. Can never rival boxing IMO

I have trained with a few mma lads and thought they were good lads. The ones you are describing probably think they are hard and probably attend the odd lesson. Same as boxing really.

Groves has questioned why Froch has put the statement out as he thought they where still negotiating. Clearly something funny is going on.

There aren't many big fights out the for Froch, as you mentioned. I'd have thought he'd be quite keen for this to happen. He'll make a lot of money out of it.
