Or beats him evenLiam Williams v Eubank jnr on December 11th in Cardiff. it would be an early Christmas present if Williams bears him
Glad I’m not out in Sheffield tonight. Heads falling off everywhere.
Nice opening line sir - made me chuckleFunny how a boxer looking like a 19-century prize fighter defeats all these Hercules-lookalikes. Wilders was huffing and puffing after the fifth. Unbelievable really.
I think Fury would struggle against a smaller, fitter, quick ducking heavyweight working his body. That Usyk might pose a challenge.
Usyk would cause anybody problems, he’s got the whole repertoire in his locker.Nice opening line sir - made me chuckle
I think the same. He's big, awkward and can 'box' (i.e. get out of trouble, wrap people up, stay out of range etc). And Wilder didn't fall over on his own.
Somewhere on this thread I saw Fury/Whyte, Josh/Usyk setting up a winner takes all which if it was Fury/Usyk would be great to watch!
*Fury and Usyk both upgradesI remember a terribly one-side fight with Fury and Chisora and see the same result for Whyte and to a lesser extent (but same result) Usyk. Haye vs that monster {was it Valuev or Nikolayev or something) is another benchmark - albeit Fury and Haye are both upgrades on those guys so who knows!
Would love to see Fury mop up the division personally. Nothing against AJ, just haven't ever really connected to him but wish him the best like.
But I tink I'm like a lot of armchair fans who sort of love an underdog, or seeing a pure boxing talent win the day too. As such, watching Whyte (unlikley) or Usyk (more possible) unify would be incredible!
I think it would also refresh a division where there's been too many lengthy stalemates (AJ vs Wilder, AJ vs Fury) that frankly I think contributed to AJ and Wilder getting stale and then clobbered.
