Boxing

I’ll believe i when I see it . I hope you are spot on btw as it would make the next few years unmissable

I don’t think Joshua beats Usyk in the rematch, didn’t think he’d beat him in the first fight, Usyk is Joshua’s worst nightmare.

The way they are saying Joshua to fight him, Joshua hadn’t got the engine to do it. He’d need to get him out inside 6 rounds, Joshua can hurt Usyk, he did in the first fight but he’s also lost that invincibility about him, he isn’t feared anymore. People know how to hurt him, a shot to the temple and it’s over for Joshua.

If Usyk beats AJ that negates his need to beat him. AJ loses again and he becomes another also ran.
Depends what way you look at it though, probably til tonight, Joshua had a better resume than Fury.

Just because Joshua loses to Usyk twice, doesn’t meant he isn’t a great fighter. Joshua would still go down as a bigger legacy fight than any of the others he’s beat, especially in this country.

Only because AJ has been given the big hurrah by the British press and the casual big show fight fans who go for the being seen to be there Insta hits rather than the hits in the ring.
Usyk is a class act in any era. A great boxer who just picked AJ to bits at his leisure.

Not disagreeing with you but your argument isn’t very good when Fury has only beat two world champions in his career. His biggest career wins are Klitschko, Wilder, Chisora and now Whyte. Not exactly a great career when you look at it from that perspective.

Joshua was hype up, way to much. We all know that, Joshua was fighting Whyte for the British title, not a world title. When Joshua knocked out Whyte, Whyte didn’t beat the count, he didn’t move. Same fans that are fury fans now, we’re all on Joshua’s nuts. Same people that are booing joshua now we’re the same ones booing Fury and calling him every name under the sun from his antics earlier on in his career. Like it or hate, Joshua’s beat more world champions than fury and fought better opposition. That’s why Fury needs that fight to cement his legacy as the best of his generation.

If AJ didn't keep getting beat then maybe we would know already.
Fury has beaten every man put in front of him, thats all he can do.

Joshua revenged his defeat to Ruiz, if he does that to Usyk, what’s your opinion on that? Is Lennox Lewis not the great he’s claimed then cos he lost to McCall and Rahman, but does he get credit cos he beat them in the rematch? So if Joshua beats Usyk, he’s beat Everyman he’s ever faced.

To be fair, Ruiz should of been a world champion, cos he beat Joseph Parker and didn’t get the decision, or the fact that Tyson Fury lost to John McDermott in his first fight with him but got a dodgy decision? Remember the tears in the post fight tears at his redemption.

For Fury to go down as an all time great, he needs to beat the winner of Joshua vs Usyk.

Lewis is a different discussion. Boxing is about beating the man in front of you, Fury has done that to each and every opponent. AJ keeps losing. As it stands he doesn't have a legacy.

That's what I said.

Of course Joshua has a legacy. The man fights in stadiums in every fight. He’s fought the best from his era apart from Fury and Wilder. If Joshua beats Usyk, he’s beat every man put in front of him, revenges his losses and gives him more of a legacy. It gives him a better legacy than Fury if he revenges his loses and becomes a 3 time world champion. Fury needs to beat the winner of Usyk or Joshua to cement his legacy as the best fighter of his generation, if he doesn’t, the will always be that if.

If AJ didnt keep losing would he have lost to Fury too?

I dont see him, AJ, beating Usyk. I dont think he's got the tools.

Fury vs Joshua is a great fight, you’d expect Fury to be the favourite but we won’t know til it happens.

Sometimes fighters, struggle with certain fighters due to style.

Great fighters adapt and overcome.

All down to AJ staying upright. Nothing in it apart from money for Fury otherwise. No glory in beating the man for money.
