Rodney Marsh predicts Brendan Galloway to leave Everton for Manchester City
Sat 8 Aug

Rodney Marsh has predicted Brendan Galloway to leave Everton for Manchester City if he continues to play like he did against Watford.
The former City forward made the prediction following the Toffees’ Premier League clash against Watford at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.
The 19-year-old started the game at left-back and played for 63 minutes, helping the Merseyside outfit to a 2-2 draw.
Marsh was following the game and he was impressed with the performance produced by the Everton teenage defender, who can also play as a centre-back.
The former Queens Park Rangers forward has predicted that Galloway could move to Premier League giants City if he continues to play like he did against newly-promoted outfit Watford.
Galloway joined Everton from Milton Keynes Dons in the summer of 2014, but he is not a regular member of the club’s first team at the moment.
However, the English youngster is a hugely talented defender who has a bright future ahead of him.
City are not in need of a defender at the moment, but if Galloway continues to play well in the coming months and years, then perhaps the Citizens could make a move for him.

I like one of the replies to that article

"I know it's difficult to tell when Rodney Marsh has made a joke because jokes are supposed to be funny, but the tweet was Marsh's idea of a joke, and if [Publication is blacklisted due to spam] can't see that they're purposely making mischief or they're thicker than two short ones."

Very, very impressive. He's wise on the pitch as well as a quality footballer. Has a big future for us.*

*... or Chelsea

I cant really understand some of our fans saying dont play him, the more he plays the better he gets, the quicker he slots in next to stones as the most elegant cetre half pairing in football.

Wouldn't say I've been blown away by him; he just looks capable to me at the moment. But given his age and massive lack of experience, that's only a big positive.

A long way to go yet, but he doesn't look out of his depth, which in itself I think is a big compliment.

Didnt look out of place at all.solid if not spectacular hes only going to get better the more games he plays.fair play to him great to see these young lads involved with browning coming on as well
