If Funes Mori has another stinker i'd love to see Galloway be given the opportunity to partner Stones at CB before Jags returns... Potentially, a Galloway-Stones duo could be one for a decade

Throughout Galloways stint at left back I see nothing to suggest that he can head the ball or be dominant in the air. Still think he is a year or 2 off the responsibility of a CB position.

Think stinker is a bit harsh. Yes silly mistake to give the pen away but far from having a stinker.

No doubt he is still a while off, but on the eve of Jag's return it would be a worthwhile exercise imo (of course dependent on Mori's form). Probably not a stinker in the true sense of the word but he def looks "wobbly" to me at times, and i'm not too sure if him and Stones have a great connection. I hope to be wrong though

What's the best plan for him over the next year and a half? Loan him out to a Championship team for the duration of next season?

Anyone want to see him start Sunday and give Baines a rest with the Man City game only THREE days later. Ludicrous that we should play on Sunday.

At centre back he is behind Jags and Mori and next season may be behind Baines and Garbutt.

if thats the case then ideally a loan to a high level championship team at centre back as long as they guarantee him games. Then the following season he may be able to come back in and fight for a spot with Baines and Jags being 1.5 years older than now.

If we're in the Europa League, he has to stick around for depth. If not, a loan might be a good idea. Has to be somewhere worth it, though. No use sending him somewhere else to get ten starts up against strikers who aren't Premier League quality -- he'd get more playing in the Under-21's.

Tbf when I saw Ojo play for the England youth team he looked very good, think @Eggs who has seen more of him is also impressed so could well not just be his recent appearance that caused the inclusion.

.....yep, Ojo is the one who impressed me when I first saw him for England. He came on as a sub in the mini Derby at Goodison last year and scored a penalty. That day he looked a cocky type, I got the impression the Everton lads wanted to kick him. He got brought down for the penalty but stuck it away with aplomb.
