dont worry mate, you can watch your local team and grab a pint in the pub like it's the 80s. no one stopping you from enjoying romantic football.

but for us with the distinguished taste, us that soothe something more refined than you common peasants can perceive, super league will do just fine
what an idiot

Do it .Will take the ban. This is the saddest day in football and you are just trying to laugh in the face of it
Right, 'saddest day'. You'll get over it and eat up the new product if it comes to life, as will everyone else. Don't worry about it. For all the big talk here about how you're all disgusted, 99% of you will most likely sub to it. Maybe not right away, but it'll happen.

Genuine question, who do you actually support, if you don't support Everton?

For an English person, who's grown up with football on the streets, with a thriving league. There are huge differences between the Premier League and the Super League. Scunthorpe United can get promoted to the Premier League, win the Champions League... it realistically will not happen, but it STILL CAN..

Now, if I am invited to go to participate in this competition, automatically i'm earning less than 66% of the money any of the founders are earning, so how am I making a competitive team? As soon as I get a good team, the big teams can pick it off, how is it a sellable product?
I support Hajduk Split. I've grown up to a shitty, corrupt & rigged domestic league, where you need a miracle to happen for Dinamo not to win it. Or maybe 2-3 miracles, all in the same season, can't decide yet.

So their chances of winning anything but Croatian Cup are slim, let alone something else. But it's football, it's something I genuinely go for the experience of it to a stadium. Same with lower league football that I frequent sometimes.

But when I do want to watch & enjoy football, I watch only the big games and big clubs.

They are all massively in debt I doubt they would of made this decision without speaking to the banks first , kicking them out the league would finish at least 2 of them , I just cant see the banks losing hundreds of millions.
Maybe that's the answer the banks call In all the loans sell the clubs straight away and the fa can turn a blind eye again.

PSG arent in it
They will be. They have no need to get dirty at this point. But they exist to win the Big Pot, not to beat Bordeaux or Saint-Etienne. They will join as soon as it is clear that it is definitely happening. They have close enough relations with Bayern, politically. What Bayern do is key. Rummenigge is the biggest football politician in Europe from the biggest football country in Europe. Twice Ballon D'Or winner, he was former head of the ECA and is embedded in UEFA's politics from the perspective of a superclub. He is pivotal. Germany is VERY much against corporate football. The 50+1 rule makes it very difficult for Bayern to join. More importantly, it is a symbol of the power German fans still have. I still see a compromise which will satisfy nobody in the end.
