Champions League revamp

Don't see it at all. Doubt there would be the votes anyway.

That does say "agree to demand" not "remove".

If all 14 adopt a resolution asking the six to leave, it will show seriousness even though it probably won't pass. As @MikelsGoat said re: Parish above, there are other ways in which the six clubs could be removed from the English football pyramid.

Non of us know exactly what’s going to happen, the media seem to think we all want the scabs expelled. Only Fulham have released a proper statement, Leeds and Palace both took jabs at it but from what I can see the likes of West Ham, Leicester, Villa, clubs who, like us, stand to benefit from the Scab 6 moving on haven’t said anything but it doesn’t mean they won’t

Clubs all around Europe have come out condemning it; doesn’t require PL clubs to force our hand. I’m sure we will make one eventually but if we really are a club for the people we’d have made one straight away calling it a load of crap.

The EPL can’t really throw them out this year because it would affect points gained or lost against them. But they can deduct 40-50 points from them and see how the bottom three works out, then ban the other three before the start of the new season......

Nothing to be gained. Just sit, wait and see.....

If it does go ahead and big sanctions are put in place I can’t see how it succeeds. Let’s say Salah is desperate to play for Egypt but UEFA prevent it. He’s contracted to Liverpool for a few more years. Surely you’d see all the top players winding down their deals and leaving on frees. If they ban them from all domestic competition then they’re playing in a dead league with nothing to play for or achieve, with an inability to play for their country. Nah, just can’t see it.

You’ll get mercenaries, course you will, but I can’t see all the top players flocking to it if they deal with this threat properly. They’d slowly replace their stars with players the next rung down in quality who don’t start for their National sides. Would be nothing super about that.

I dont think they have currently broken League rules.

Nor do I think the 14 will take a nuclear stance, as I say, they are at war with UEFA and there will be a massive degree of self interest on show tomorrow, from all 14 clubs.

I don't think they'll go nuclear tomorrow either, and there has to be an opportunity for the six to back down (or for one or two of them to reverse course).

However if they aren't going to do that, they (and the rest of football / the rest of the country) have to understand what the consequences will be.

Like I said, the club will likely put one out after the meeting regarding our feelings
