Hes gonna do somebody some serious harm.
Chelsea and city can end this now, both weren't keen on the idea and should do a U-shaped turn
Probably legal and financial ramifications if they pull out now

I just don't see punishment being meted out for the six clubs, unless they refuse to budge. In which case expulsion is the only viable option, and that is the nuclear option for both sides.

It's certainly gone far further than I thought it would but I see still a compromise as the likeliest scenario emerging.

It will only take one club to buckle and the others will fall over themselves to follow suit.

The best thing for us is that this whole concept is shut down and put to bed for the foreseeable future but I don't see this heralding the beginning of a new egalitarian age in football.
I’m just not seeing what a compromise could look like. Infantino is right, you can’t be half in and half out.

I know they need to be punished but will they?

The Premier League are only arsed about £££/TV deal.

Those six clubs provide the £££/TV deal.

No chance they expel them. None at all.

If they stay in the Premier League and are allowed to access The Super League they have no requirement to be competitive in the Premier League.

And to the Premier League, that won't be as bad as losing them entirely.

They should expel them and there should be no chance of them coming back - but no chance of that happening.

"Man Utd, Liverpool and co. You take your billions and fanbase and sod off. Principles, innit?"

All 12 clubs involved should have their UEFA coefficient points revoked as well, because no doubt, with most of them in serious decline, one of them would benefit from the new UEFA rules to get in the Champions League through the back door under the new rules.

Was it he? Or another Bayern director who wen to jail for corruption? I think it may have been Uni Hoennes who went down for corruption.
So just got to hope that KHR is the lesser of two evils.
That was Uli Hoeneß, who basically devoted his entire life to Bayern. Rummenigge is a more political animal who has cultivated huge influence beyond Germany in European football corridors of power. Because he was such a great player, he can pose as a "football man" of huge standing and could stand up to Platini as an equal when discussing the clubs' demands. In fact, he and Platini developed an understanding when Platini was UEFA president and Rummenigge the President of the ECA. He lends a veneer of credibility to the suits that run the other megaclubs. But he has limits. He IS a football man - albeit one who will do what it takes to ensure Bayern remain at the pinnacle of the global game. He has his own personal legacy to protect as a two-time Ballon d'Or winner and all-time great. He will be the one all sides look to in the end, in my opinion. UEFA will remain in control, but will cede much more to the clubs after this shock and awe tactic. In essence, he is indeed the lesser of two evils - but what he proposes will really not be enough to stop the rot. It will simply kick the can down the road.

Amazed people really think the Premier League will expel Arsenal, Man City, Liverpool, Man Utd, Tottenham and Chelsea.

If you’re the Premier League, you’ve got a really good opportunity to lay down the gauntlet without damaging your product by simply banning them from any cup competitions for a couple of seasons.

Theh can focus on the league, but won’t reap any rewards, whilst keeping their competition... competitive.

Not a chance they banish the clubs.
