Champions League revamp

What is this crap about fans missing out if the sly six get punished? If they were banned from Europe for say, five years, each club would still be able to play for three titles every season. There is a good possibility of two of the six doing exactly that next season. A European ban would hit them harder as it would be a longer term of financial loss, a fine now would be petty cash to these sort of people.

If they were banned from Europe for five years, their whole house of cards would collapse. The players would flock to the exits, new players wouldn't come in, their sponsorship contracts would be renewed for far less or not at all, they would become mediocrities and the overseas fans would shift their allegiances or find something else to watch and buy merch from.

That would push them all back into the arms of Perez, I suspect.

We lost in 1992 and have been losing ever since.
All we have won is the right to continue at a serious disadvantage to the monied few while what we once loved is trampled by people who couldn’t give a sh*t.

That ain’t working,
That’s the way you do it,
You get your team into the Su per League.
Yeah I'm not sure we lost in 92 yano.

The Premier League is the richest and best League in the world.

Clubs in this league have incomes of between 150m-500m.

Clubs values range from about 500m-4bn.

I don't think we lost.

As I've said, we need to make sure this can never happen again, rule changes are very easy.

Won’t somebody PLEASE think of the money!

The PL changed the money making power of clubs but it has never closed off the money to anyone. Yes the greedy six have built brands that will always make more but it isn't impossible for someone like Bournemouth to establish themselves if they run things right. It isn't a shining beacon of fair sporting practices but to compare 1992 to this is very wide of the mark.

Rule changes and a strong set of penalties that discourage it further.

Well stop spending 100+ on players and paying over 500k per week on another player yet being £1.1 billion in debt.

No wonder they wanted (& still do) the Super League.
Should be banned like other clubs have been.
Fortunately under new management

Laporta will lead the club forward

I said earlier. Football at the highest levels is more awash with cash than it's ever been.

Why is there a narrative that football needs fixing or 'more quality' matches to stop it from imploding?

In case you missed it, modern football is all about money.

Without the Premier Leagues growth there wouldn't have been 6 clubs invited to The Scan Union.

We wouldn't have Carlo and you wouldn't have world-renowned Roy.
1. Yes. I think that’s bad.
2. That would be good I think.
3. We might. If there was less money in the game as a whole, the going rate would be less and they would take it.

The Premier League is the richest blah blah. It’s like saying that western economies gdp’s are the strongest on the planet. That plays well at the food bank.

They’re hypocrites anyway.

Didn’t five of the Gobshite 6 sign a letter asking UEFA to ban their fellow snake club, Man City, for breaching FFP?

1. I also think its bad, but its not something that can be fought, you accept it, support your club, go the game, watch on tele or you walk away
