5 subs so just change it up half time. How many times can the same players let managers down! Give Patterson a go, plonk price in there.

The jjk left wing back experiment needs to stop now.

At least it shatters the illusion that a last minute win over Newcastle is somehow a turning point. This team will continue to let everyone down because most of them aren't good enough for a Premier League team who wants to win things (or even just not be fighting relegation) and mentality they've been incredibly poor for years, if we were stuck with them in the Championship we'd never get out of it.

I couldn’t name more than two palace players off the top of my head…

and yet they look light years ahead of us on team cohesion, attitude, and most importantly ability.

It’s okay though, the Everton players are on show on a free tv channel in the uk in a Sunday lunchtime. there’ll be fans of all clubs and teams watching this, and they will be wetting themselves laughing at us.

And rightly so.

The Benitez Plan: We're so bad away from home*, let's put 11 behind the ball and see if we can get to half time .. and bore the pants off every one.

Half Time 0-2, throw everything at team that is defending a comfortable lead .. get a consolation - lose 2-1 (or 3-1 when chasing late equaliser)

The Lampard Plan: We're so bad away from home, let's go for it for the first 20-30 minutes, see if we've got anything to hang on...

Half Time 0-2, throw everything at team that is defending a comfortable lead.. leave gaps at the back trying to get back in the game.. LOSE.

*Benitez Plan was also deployed at home.
