2024/25 David Moyes

How many have we in half this season?

It's also using wins not points as the measure, looks dead even until you FS turn in one of those even seasons west ham got 29 at home, we got 21.

Moyes 3 home seasons etc west ham
34, 32, 28, 29 points.

Dyche with us 21, 28, 10 (half a season)

So 31 points average (1.62 ppg) v 23 points average (1.25 ppg)

I'd say that is a very noticeable difference in ppg

Dyche only got 21 points in total in his first half season so how could he have got 21 at home?

My comparison was them 2 seasons not who was manager for us.
I didnt take itnto account draws just wins.
Even then it was 1 point difference last year and 7 the year before.
Not exactly huge differences given what both teams had spent.
Moyes might sort our home form this season (it cant be worse) but people acting like its a given when the past 2 years results dont show that

Has he took training yet? Thought there'd be loads of videos n stuff, dyches first day had a video of him marching round the training pitch counting steps looking like he knew what he was doing
I saw one article (forget where) that said he supposedly took training on Saturday.

Somebody saying we need to demand an improvement? Isn't that literally the point of getting rid of the previous fella, so we improve? Maybe I missed those posts but I haven't seen any hostility towards Moyes or fellas willing him to fail. His appointment to me, was just very underwhelming.

I think those of us who didn't specifically want Moyes, merely wanted someone new, someone with a different mindset different to what we've seen before. I'm not exactly sure how anyone is going to be 'proven right' (or wrong) whether we win, lose or draw? I assume, closet kopites aside, all of us here want him to win every game including the FA Cup final. I do.

I think everyone did. But im a bit bemused by some of the comments in this thread. I think their(owners) intention was to see it out to the summer. Moyes doesnt get this job in the summer in my opinion. But if i put myself in the shoes of the new owners. Teams not winning or even scoring. You meet the manager. You want some fighting talk. Instead he tells you he's got nothing left. Well talk about game changer. And im with them. Go clear your desk.
So from going review in the summer we've suddenly got to find a manager quick. Its halfway through the season. Getting a manager in employment. very difficult. Next option. A manager currently available to step straight in. What was that list like? I never saw some great list of top class managers ready to walk into the job at a moments notice.
Moyes is a decent enough manager considering the circumstances of above. He'll need to be.
