Discussion & help on depression & mental health related issues

@Bryan @bring back the catt
there is nothing wrong with " all about me " depression and illness can be a lonely place and this thread allows us to be noticed and "talk" to others. I do it all the time, and await eagerly for likes or replies. it is a feelgood situation to know that I can share my feelings. even if I had a good day I like to share it and that helps just as much as posting problems. hope that makes sense and keep on posting even if it's to get noticed.

There really are some amazing contributors on this site.
I mean, these are real people with real problems who are more than willing to genuinely come to the help of others in distress.
Despite their own difficulties, they come forward and read and discuss and share and offer advice and experiences with sincerity.
Every post i have read has begun with caution from the contributor, but gradually becomes more open the more the debate continues, which can only mean the advice given and experiences shared are helping in a most positive way.
I also feel a bit humble as I am convinced most posters have far larger problems than I, but the help given goes a long way to make me feel a lot more confident.
I have written that quite badly as it reads a bit selfish of me, but I mean it in a sense that ALL posters are helping everybody. I think that is what I am trying, very badly, to write.

There are some truly inspirational posters on here mate, non more so than @wbn61 and I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that.

What makes this thread truly wonderful, is that it's not only the shared support it gives people, but also through the various experiences of posters, good and bad , helping new and old posters alike to hopefully speed up their recovery process.

Every football forum should have a thread like this. Imagine how many people across the UK who aren't well and don't have access to a site like this ?

I would endorse every single word, and doubly so the first sentence.

If it only ever helps even one person, it's worth it.

The hardest part of any hidden illness is admitting you have it,then having the ability to talk about it,I find that even now mental health and mens health still take a back seat, thats why this part of the forum is so important it gives people the chance to open up,even if they dont post they can see theres other members who have the same problems and how they are coping/seeking help just the fact you know your not alone can be a great help

I'm in a state again, going from happy-go-lucky to suicidal thoughts. I'm not going to act on them, so not realy to worry here, but it's... tiring. Happy one second, 5 minutes pass, feel soulless, repeat.

Just a bit of a vent here I suppose.
What exactly is annoying you at the moment?

Have you been working mad hours or drinking a bit more than usual mate ?

Could be time to take the foot off the gas or head home for a bit ?

If I lose my battle of 1st September - it's complicated - and therefore probably my connection I'll not be around much - if at all after that date - so I just want to say thanks for all your kind thoughts, help, friendship, humour. Sorry if I offended anyone.
Hope you are alright mate. Don't know what's happening September 1 for you, but you are one of us and have our well wishes.
