Some of the bedwetters slating him clearly don't watch our games, or at least don't understand the game.

1) based on what is he a mid table striker?
2) what absolute rubbish, we've not long ago sold a winger who gets double figures every season, if the best we can get is a striker whos scored 10 goals in almost 3 years then good grief we are fcked
 
We have to look beyond DCL now for our own sake. He is not scoring many and Yes he has chances but needs to learn to be in the right place at the right time also. His work ethic that we praised him for over the last few seasons has also diminished. We need someone else in but doubt that is possible considering our circumstances. Sad really because thought he would be our saviour

Ive got no issue with calvert lewin but he cant have it all ways. When he has got service he hasnt finished either. This was happening when the team won 4 on the bounce but it was glossed over because the team were winning.
Bottom line. You need your forward line to get those goals to win you a percentage of games over a season, like he did west ham away. That was the last time he directly won Everton a game. That was 3 months ago.
Its one of them. People will look at what he brings to the side as a package.
But he needs to put more away.

Bedwetters because they want their number 9 to score goals, oh right. Maybe I need to understand the game a bit more too always thought number 9s scored goals. I mean we could play hopeless balls up to Dobbin or Beto if they played as well but bet they’d of taken one of the chances over the last couple of months DCL has missed.
 
Long may Evertonians put pressure on their number 9s when not scoring goals.

I still think he will hit form before too long and go on a scoring run. Good to see his fitness hold up for this long a run a of games (cup half full). Just wish we had any striker to score goals now.
