Yep that's what it means. He needs to earn enough by the age of 35 to support his family for another 50 or 60 years.

If he is the kind of character that would do this - sit out his contract - and I don't necessarily think he is - then we'd be silly not to sell him. If he does go then that will tell me everything I need to know.
