He did indeed win the derby duel. Pity he couldn't do it against most of the defenders in the other 30-odd games he played, isn't it.I’m sure Van Dikhead agrees with this when Dom battered him in the derby
Yeah coz football is that simple. He did indeed win the derby duel. Pity he couldn't do it against most of the defenders in the other 30-odd games he played, isn't it.
He’s looking for the best contract? What a jerk.Perhaps not in those words, but that is the inference. He's not signed the contract he's been offered here, he's not agreed a contract with Newcastle who appear to be the only team interested in signing him, so reading between the lines, it suggest that's exactly what he's planning on doing subject to a better offer from us or someone else.
Like the boy who cried wolf..Walks off the pitch the round of boos with a broken cheekbone

Not agreeing to the terms of Newcastles contract could be a number of things. Maybe he was told he wouldn’t be a starter, maybe they were offering him less than he’s already on, or maybe he just didn’t get the right feeling from Newcastle.
Reported foul languageHe’s looking for the best contract? What a jerk.
I have no issue with a player wanting to get the best possible deal, I just don't think we should be offering said contract to a striker that bags about 6 goals a season. Clearly neither does the only team who had shown an interest in him. He’s looking for the best contract? What a jerk.
I don’t think that’s the correct analogy mateLike the boy who cried wolf..
What does that even mean ?Like the boy who cried wolf..
Maybe he expected Dom to play on with a broken cheekboneWhat does that even mean ?
Being 'isolated' has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that this lad continually misses chance after chance. It's perfectly reasonable to want a striker to score more than a handful of goals a year. Clinging on to players who continually prove to be nothing more than average whilst making every excuse under the sun for their lack of ability is just one of the reasons we've been a joke for years.Yeah coz football is that simple.
For the majority of the season he was left isolated; but yeah do more Dom
Well it has a lot do with it; being isolated means less chances so expectations grow that the 1 chance he gets needs to be convertedBeing 'isolated' has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that this lad continually misses chance after chance.
