If it's a quick fix for one season - Allardyce is the man. Dyche is NOT a quick fix man - took half a season to get Burnley's shambolic defence (under Eddie Howe) working as an effective unit.

Instead of Dyche, you'd be better off signing the left-footed Ben Mee to replace Williams and partner Keane in central defence.

When I hear the tale of Big Sam and his 15 thieves, why do I think of Jabba the Hutt in his den of villainy with all the cronies guffawing at whatever debased idea is spewed out by the gluttonous odious creature in charge?

The big problem as I see it, is that after every calamity filled spectacle the team produce, Sam becomes a more palatable option. It's taking longer and longer to shake off that delirium.

Sean Dyche on the other hand, I just shrug my shoulders and pour oil in my ears to ensure his words don't make my ears bleed. Though I ain't too confident he can get us out of trouble - Sam I am.

What a revolting predicament if that's the 2 options.

snobby everton fans everywhere in here. almost like reading aload of Tories commentating *sighs

we need someone who will guarantee our premier league status, not some euro manager who hasn't got a clue about the demands of the premier league.

get Allardyce in, sure us up. give him some actual money to spend, along with one of the best squads he's probably ever had to work with, and who knows he might just surprise us.

whatever happens we can not afford not to get behind whoever comes in.

Either would represent a major step back for Everton Football Club, being totally honest. Where have our aspirations gone?
