I'm delighted an enormously likeable England team won yesterday, and I'm embarrassed by a lot of England fans and their ludicrously unfounded sense of nationalistic superiority.

You don't have to conflate support of your national team with nationalism.

Either way none of us choose where we were born. I neither hate or love the UK, it was just the bit of rock I was born on. Some of it is boss, some of it is rubbish. Same as anywhere.

Always will the malaise of many of our English brethren is rampant tribal and individualism, putting aside the cultural critique.

The only manager since following England (86) that has been able create team ethic throughout the entire squad in my opinion, is dear old Bobby at Italia 90... And now Southgate... No surprise we are in a final only teams manage it.
