That is why the ref will argue Burns had more possession of the ball, and it wasn’t a pen.

How would a player accidentally kick another player if their leg wasn’t in the way of said player striking the ball?

*Puts on devils advocate hat...technically, a leg between the ball and the attacker is a block - but it's obvious to blind pugh that he just lurched/threw himself at Calvert-Lewin to take him out.

Ref was very poor all match. I can only assume Gordon used to fall over all the time before a tackle, even when he played for us. At least 6 times he fell over before being touched. Pawson gave each one as a foul.

Everton should request Pawson does not referee us again.

If that penalty decision was for RS or Citeh, Arsenal etc, you know the outcome would have been different.

The penalty they got (it was) was not so different than Gammy-knee against Palace earlier in the day, which surprisingly (not) was not given.

Sick of the blatant top 6 bias.
