Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

Moyes didn`t always play with 2 wingers at West Ham, he often played with 3 10s in behind the striker Benrama, Lanzini & Fornals before Bowen became more prominent... I think McNeil, NDaiye and Lindstrom would be affective if we had FBs that could overlap.
Also how he played here a lot of the time before Mirallas came in towards the end of his 1st spell

Pace is great, but pace without end product is unbelievably frustrating. Give me a slow-ish player with quality over a fast player with little quality every day of the week.

I don't know for certain but i'm not sure that would change anything. I think the rules relate to us holding his registration as a player rather than him being registered as available in the PL.

I could be wrong mate, but I think within the rules there's mention of 4 loans domestically a season, but no more than 2 at once. For the eventuality that a loan may be terminated early so to speak. (I think).

No, holding his registration as a player and him being registered in our PL squad are two different things, that is for definite. What i'm not entirely sure on is whether the rules relate to holding his registration or registering him in the PL list, my instinct is that it's holding his registration but I don't know that for sure.
It’s somewhat moot because if you were going to keep paying their wages to not play for the club there would be no reason for the parent club to not take them back.

We could rid ourselves of Broja and Harrison by paying them off. It definitely would make sense with Broja, as he's going to be injured for a couple of months. An argument could be made for it making sense with Harrison, depending on the quality of his replacement.

Well there would - the fact that they would have to start paying his wages again! Why would you want to say no worries we'll pay him when somebody else has already legally agreed to do it for you?

Chillwell is a decent enough player but crocked so would be a silly move. I think Myko has been bad this season but it's not a priority upgrade for the short term in my opinion.

I always thought if the loaned player was injured, then he returned to his parent club for treatment, sure that happened with one of our young players that had been loaned out, he was sent back after injury, can't remember who it was but it was recent.

Young players are different, they normally dont have loan fees attached or other clauses.
