Frankly I would prefer Chermiti and Beto try to replace DCL than anyone else, especially if it’s someone like Broja. Why pay £30m on a striker when we paid £45m for 2 last summer.

We have been linked with him every window going back to when Lampard was manager and we were linked with every Chelsea player.

He’s not had a “good season” since 21/22 on loan at Southampton and even then he had 8 goals in 34 in all competitions.
