I thought Everton were brilliant tonight, best side weve played all season imo

You need to get yourselves sorted because it will be injustice if you dont finish top 4.

From our point of view I felt we didnt play that great but yet again our 2 Cb's were warriors (and we got lucky) Zaha missing was a massive blow for us, we didnt look as balanced.

The draws are frustrating us this season. We've seen this in recent seasons too. Need to start delivering wins in the tougher games (like tonight) if we want to progress. Especially after last weeks debacle at Bournemouth. It feels like we're on the verge of taking off but we just can't get back to back wins and get going!

It's early days but Funes Mori is not shrinking violet lid.

True mate but you look at the likes of Palace and Stoke and they have yardogs at the back but they are the ones who bully defenders and get their heads on the end of corners.

Our defence is massively hindering us as a side, the manager needs to work on it as our attack play is fantastic.

We got the ball in and around the box enough times to score a few, but they defended well and were a bit lucky at times. For all our possession
up forward we could never quite find enough space to get a shot off.
Disappointing result, but looking on the bright side it always feels better to draw with a late equaliser than to draw after leading, and to
be fair Palace are a fairly decent side.

Gutted about the result and the fact we've conceded from a header / set piece again, but that was a cracking game of footie and we're massively unlucky not to come away with three points.

I think we all knew how palace would play
They hard to break down and have some big players and of course look to counter

You could see early on they seemed to be going wide and getting the ball in early
But we coped pretty well

The 2nd half we played well and on another day would have won with a bit to spare
They broke on us a couple of times which was always going to happen

There goal very frustrating
Just block the run
With so many young players we don't seem clever enough at times this could also be the manager?

This team is crying out for one/two really experienced class attacking players
But this is the problem you either pay over the odds for a30yr old like cabaye
Or you buy another 21yr old

We need more composure around the box at times this is what lets Ross geri and rom down at times which is understandable with there. Age's
Don't get me wrong I think all 3 are fantastic and all had good games tonight but picked the wrong option at times

Like our breakaway right at the end lukaku should have played the ball inside for geri

Kone isn't good enough and while cleverly had a good game Ross could easily do that job

What a c### Alan parry is all he went on about in the last 10minutes was palace getting a late winner

Thought the red was also poor they were wasting time all second half
And to let them get away wit a 45 second throw in. In injury time and not add it on was a disgrace

Our defence is too soft, we are crying out for a Dann/Shawcross/Huth type.

That's not right mate. Our problems stem from an inability to defend from (i) corners and (ii) crosses across the 6 yard line.

Corners - team organisation and responsibilty not just central defenders.

Crosses into the 6 yard box, down to the keepers inability to command his box.

Better organisation on set pieces and a dominant goalkeeper and we would be sound.

Thanks mate. Palace were absolutely fantastic at the back. It was one of the best defensive performances I have seen at Goodison in years. Not many teams in the league could defend like that.

Is right. A win last week and the draw tonight wouldn't seem so bad especially after we went behind. Needed to win to make up for it but it just wouldnt go for us tonight. Tough match.
