Did we play them off the park? It was a much stronger performance from the blues, however it was far from pretty. I'd say it was discipline and resolute.

That's not a criticism by the way as it was what was needed. Yet equally, it did help that we played a very poor and uninspiring United team.

In fact, it's the worst United team I've probably seen in four decades, so we're heading back to the mid to early 80s.

There was an increased presence and an police carrier actually parked on the Gwladys Street; the potentinal for crowd trouble was definitely a concern.
I though we did in the 4-0, was a comfortable win and we controlled and dominated the game.

Not a bad weekend , footballing wise. We win, and Burnley are beat. It's of course all in our hands to pull clear of relegation. But a few favourable results going our way won't hurt. Brentford seem safe. We might catch Leeds. But for now it's all about staying ahead of the bottom three. Awful that we are in this position. But there you are. Survive this season. Build on that. And just don't put us through this nonsense again.
Beat Leicester next. Hopefully back to back home wins. Or at the very least.....don't get beat.
Burnley away to West Ham next. Up The Hammers...

Last point. I like DCL. But surely he's gone in the summer. Get as much as possible for him. Then put in a proper bid for Toney from Brentford... This guy could be within our price range. Test Brentfords resolve. And also get Dobbin and Ellis involved. Maybe actually also keep Rondon. And of course keep Richarlison. Happy days.
But first. Pull clear of Burnley and Watford. Up The Toffees. Our staying up wee Toffees......hopefully.

DCL needs to put in the work. Namely win headers. Cover big players in our box. Chase balls you never win, bu keep opposition busy so chase them nevertheless. If he can do that then keep him till summer. If not, ship him this week.

DCL was awful, every time the ball came to him he lost possession, putting pressure back on the team, I will be glad to see the back of him .

He's here to the summer no matter what. Just hope he can do all that you say. And score a few goals. A few goals that make a difference. Win us matches. But his last few games have not been great. Is he still carrying an injury. Or has his head been turned? Remember Lescott a number of seasons back. Different position I know. But players heads can be turned.
But surely he's gone in the summer. Or is all this Arsenal talk nonsense. And if he does go. We then replace him. Like for like.
Knowing how we operate. We will probably bring in Charlie Austin.....

With a bit of luck we can shaft the best part of £50m from Arsenal or Spurs for him, and if Frank is still here, he'll know a few good prospects - perhaps the lad on loan at Saints. Broja or something.

EDIT: wonder if Gab Jesus might fancy moving on from City? Could be our No9, play every game, not move house? Probably not likely I know.

I'm a 44 year old southern TV watching Everon fan ? I honestly thought the match going fans were awe inspiring Yesterday, I salute you all! When the final whistle went I actually felt a bit emotional. The seasons been so negative you try and switch off but after the Burnley game I had sickening feeling in my stomach I couldn't shake.

Anyway the releif! Lets all have a few cold ones over Easter before we go again.

Love this club! Sometimes wish I didn't though ?

Watching the citeh - reds game now. That fella De Bruyne... They oughta give parental guidance ratings to their tickets. What a hugely arousing player. Why dont we make him an offer.
