On a personal level - never use a paper form for a confirmation statement!!! Extra 46 pages to read through - just no.
The bulk shareholder list would be worth a look at if only to confirm that if the only shares FM acquires are JW, BK and AA, he falls short of 75%, but not paying for that.
For someone who hasn't a clue what does this statement tell us?

Basically gives some very basic info on Moshiri, and shows he owns more than 25%, but less than 50% of Everton, and that he has voting rights equal to said share amount.

Sorry mate. Been busy. Yes, in the old days an Annual Return was filed showing Directors, Secretary Shareholders etc. Snapshot of the company on a certain date.
Now the Confirmation statement has replaced it, the only additional bits being ownership/contol.
There is a bit more to CS but I'd probably get it wrong and bore the hell out of you.
