Player Valuation: £50m
Say what now ?????? ???Well there certainly carrying out the actions too. £100m nearly spent on 2 players already.

i'd go one further and say he doesn't need to spend it all as long as it is spent well and those leaving are replaced with as good a version as we can possibly get
Baking Powder?Well there certainly carrying out the actions too. £100m nearly spent on 2 players already.
Baking Powder?
Is right. Look at Spurs making a point of spending the Bale money. Spent most of it on utter rubbish. It shouldnt be about net, forget net, the thing we should look at, at the end of the window is "was the manager backed".
Without making excuses, it wont be his fault if Lukaku and Ross leave, sure people will try and blame him, but its really not, so lets assume we get 100m for Rom and Ross, then say another 40m for the rest of the tosh, Geri, Niasse, The Clev, maybe Jamo, as long as EVERY penny of that money is spent on the players the manager wants, I wont have a major issue, can buy a lot of players for 140m smackers.
I though he was talking about Everton, My bad43m on Silva and 35m on Ederson, who for the record, they havent actually signed yet, hes just rounded it up from 78m to 100m.
I seriously doubt Koeman would've joined us if he didn't think Moshi was serious.
Moshiri isn't obligated to provide £1 towards transfers but BK is 50 times poorer so it isn't coming from BK. We're not going to do a Leeds and borrow massively and the tv money, given club expenses, only goes so far.I suspect you mean he won't unless you're putting your hand in your pocket too. We always forget that we are fuming about someone not spending their money on our hobby.
Mate, we'll make over £130m from the past season in TV money alone. If an "ambitious club" with no FFP issues like last Summer can't/won't go out and spend the majority of that on quality transfers, then yes, we have been conned.Moshiri isn't obligated to provide £1 towards transfers but BK is 50 times poorer so it isn't coming from BK. If Mosh has no intention to provide then we're sell to buy as ever. What's most disappointing is that would mean we've all been conned by a cynical marketing job including Mosh himself falsely claiming a 60m bid for a player.
Since Moshiri arrived he has payed off our debts, got Koeman in,built the basis for our new stadium purchase and theres no suggestion he wont provide the funds to purchase the players we need. He's building from the foundation upwards. Not easy considering the mess Martinez left us in.I just wish the fans could stop with the negativity till atleast the end of the transfer window.I think that was more to due with Koeman being offered more money just as Moyes was kept in the high earners bracket. The fake throwing toys out the pram act in January was all an act. 6 Million a year is living proof. So was his fake ultimatum to Ross.
Koeman would leave at first opportunity of a better club coming in for him in my opinion however what is interesting is that here in my country L'Équipe ran a story about how Lucien Favre met with Everton board and they kept him waiting,Favre is a fantastic manager and now off to Dortmund after getting NICE into the champions league (As he has with previous clubs in Germany and discovered great players like Reus and Ter Stegen etc).
It's interesting that they said Everton kept him waiting and in the end he chose a lesser job. It looked to me that they spent all summer chasing experts in selling to buy in Walsh and Koeman and with the mantra that 7th-9th pays well when you don't have to invest anything NET.
Either that or they shortlisted Favre out of luck because he was free and didn't have a clue about his management skills that are superior to Ronald- Every 18 year old who follows european football knows this.
Maybe it's a case of Old men Elstone who follow Rugby not being very wise- An example I like to use is like saying someone at the FBI can be good at catching Serial killers but they really don't know how to put them self in their shoes and understand the picture whole.
Bill Moshiri Elstone and the Russian bloke don't really understand football so I'd of hoped Walsh would step up and act like a Levy type role and really take everything out of bills and elstones hands. Walsh should really be hiring and firing managers, appointing specialist staff, handling contracts, organising transfers. But it seams like Elstone and Bill have massive part to play.

There will be no FFP issue this Summer. Everyone needs to drop that excuse.I am confident we won't be hampered with FFP, as we have new shirt sponsor (only worth around half of the lowest sponsor in top6, hey big spender...') and the USM sponsorship- that shall go some way in providing wiggle room, along with the multiple players who will be sold that aren't of use
