Fair enough, but the point is - we’re not in that era anymore.

Nowadays, unless you’re worth more than most countries GDP, you can’t bankroll player transfers in that manner.

what I'm saying is , Jordan was true to his word. he went in and transformed palace at the time with his cash.

we have someone at the helm saying this and not being true to his word. don't say [Poor language removed] you don't mean. it wont wash.

Moshiri is the best thing that has happened to Everton in premier league history. If he is not here the reality would be Martinez in charge and Bill and Bob having us mortgaged to the eyeballs, a sell to loan transfer policy, and a sketch of a stadium on WHP that came from one of the kids at the school.

Instead we are currently closing in on what is every Evertonians dream stadium, we are now debt free, instead of borrowing from Philip Green in the Cayman Islands we have deals with the world’s largest banks. We’re talking about attracting the likes of Brands and Fonseca.

He’s made mistakes in his first 2 years no question, but at least with Moshiri at the helm we have the chance to get it right. If he’s not there we would have no aspiration whatsoever under Kenwright and Elstone.

How come he lost it all then?

But why would we expect an Iranian investor to put himself in the position Jordan put himself in?

Rhetoric is all well and good, a new owner will always say he will give everything he has, but it people really expect him to throw stupid money at transfers and whittle away his personal wealth, it’s on them.
