Money well spent. From Millwall.
Point remains, you make it sound like the early 2000's was a period where £35m invested into a club was a big deal.
well it was wasn't it. esp for a club like palace.

Replied to the wrong message mate. Deleted it whilst you replied. Big apologies.
I was replying to @mellowblue - Martinez's biggest fan.
the financial downturn ruined many people who had vested intrests in all sorts of business's, including football club owners.
In what way? You’re arguing for Simon Jordan as an example of a good owner.
kkDont remember any football clubs being ruined by the downturn. Their owners maybe, but you said he had already given £35m of his £37m fortune to the club. It was crap ownership that did for them, not the economy.

he wasn't a phoney owner like at many clubs
moshiri could spend all HIS money on us and leave us in a complete mess.Still dont get why you reckon Simon Jordan is/was/would be a better owner than Moshiri. He lost all his money, and the club was in a mess.
ok you don't like Jordan, I get it.No. He was a crap one.

hes actually started off pretty well on that front.
bar spending HIS own cash
Never met him.
But dont think he did very well as Palace owner. You seem to think he did.
he gave it his best shot and he would still be owner if the markets hadn't collapsed
Maybe. Who knows?
