Dont remember any football clubs being ruined by the downturn. Their owners maybe, but you said he had already given £35m of his £37m fortune to the club. It was crap ownership that did for them, not the economy.

he was good for Palace up till the meltdown in the markets, that no one forecast!

I'm saying he went in, and gave everything he had in a real effort to get palace on the big stage.

my whole point is about an owner doing what he said, 'giving his all' as promised, instead of having this fella in charge talking to jim white and realeasing ridiculous statements.
