I'd imagine it means he'l be here shortly. It's only a matter of time before he takes half of Blue Heaven holdings who are the holding company purchasing these shares. This was all probably pre agreed, hopefully ground related and it just means another step in the process has been taken.

Usmanov doesn't have to have a direct share holding of Everton Football Club, he can just have interest in Blue Heaven Holdings.

I don't think this changes anything... apart from possibly delaying Usmanov joining the club until 2019 or beyond as the shareholding owned by Moshiri continues to rise.

This, I feel, is a decision that has been made a long time ago that Usmanov would join Moshiri at Everton... or that he would not.

Usmanov will buy in for half of Blue Heaven Holdings and they'll run the club together, when the time is right, I suspect all that is stopping it is to finalise the funding deal for the stadium with the council.

Moshiri/BHH now for the first time has a controlling stake, Bill was not going to let this happen until the stadium was set in stone so why is he doing it now?
