Now that this guy is the majority shareholder hopefully it will put an end to the puerile trolling of Bill Kenwright and blaming him for every bad decision ever made by anyone at GP. But then again the people who do this will still see his hand in it even if he owned 1%.

personally i only blame him for 20 yrs or so of complete failure, unfair to hold him accountable for any more than that.

I would have liked to have seen a parallel announcement that Kenwright was stepping down as chairman, or at least a timeframe to that end.

I was quite underwhelmed by the CEO appointment though she has to be given an opportunity to prove her worth. I was even more disappointed by the "Senior Leadership Team" or whatever it was called, that was assembled after.

We badly need a new Chairman and a new face to hold all of the very familiar old faces to account and make them responsible for targets.
