Does this show us what he clearly thinks of the fans or that he knows what he's doing and Kenwright is the man for the job. If you wasn't confused about this club and it's future before think you will be now

This might be clinically coined "Peter Johnson built the Park End Syndrome" mate.

The Park End was awful then and is awful now though, it's nothing alike.

You have to accept you are complicit, then. Turning a blind eye is why these people exist. Same with the horse punchers and the Saudis. Same with city and the Emiratis.

The world is [Poor language removed] because we all go along with it.

Are you conflating sporting performance with the morality of our ownership here? Because over in the board thread there's a bloodthirsty mob wetting their kecks that a certain scouse Evertonian Chairman hasn't been given the boot.

Understandably this post got a negative reception.

I agree with you in principle though, if ultimately we get the stadium, comfortably stay up, he sells up and we kick on. It would be forgotten.

But just as understandably, people aren't convinced that he has any intention of going and think we are headed for a 3rd successive relegation battle.

I'm reserving judgement myself until MSP come in AND we see if any of the players in key positions we need come through the door.

Why would he leave at this point though when the club is worth a lot more in a few years with a new stadium? And what are people basing his lack of intention to go on?

MSP is likely to be to bridge the gap in BMD funding (as Moshiri has been open about) and we all know we're skint because the owner blew his sizeable transfer load on some of the worst players and coaches imaginable.

Get rid of Kenwright, buys the time to build the stadium and get away with a boring middle of the table set of performances which should be possible under Dyche with little investment.

Get the stadium built and you buy some more time for the club to be become more able to self fund improvement.

He could have 5 or 6 years of an easy ride.

But keeping toxic Bill in makes his position untenable. Insanity to not get rid of the owl faced blurt.

I suppose the best outcome for us now is that MSP bring in their investment, Moshiri can't pay them back and has to convert them into shares and that Moshiri then finds himself still desperate for funds, hopefully MSP again provide the funds, once again convert them to shares and get control of the club. Hopefully they can steady the ship, take us into the new ground and sell at a big profit to long term owners when we are a more attractive proposition.

Whichever way you look at it, the club under Kenwright and Moshiri is rott n to the core and run like a circus. I was only surprised that Bud Abbott and Lou Costello were not named on the interim board.

Yeah that's the main point, Moshiri isn't selling until that stadium is built. And no prospective buyer is gonna commit to buying him out and taking on all that debt coupled with the uncertainty of our premier league status. Assuming we stay up, once that stadium is open, Moshiri will sell up as soon as he can.

I reckon Moshiri would sell tomorrow if a good offer came in

👏

What you've said is the stone cold truth. BMD is the one thing that could transform the club / attract the kinds of buyers that can have us compete in the long term and without Moshiri this stadium would have never happened.

We should also be grateful for the matchday experience that will be at BMD - going the match and having a deluxe seat, no obstructed views, better grub/drinks and hospitality.
Obstructed views mean I don’t have to watch all the garbage we serve up though

Just need an indepth investigation in to how he funded everton with a to be sanctioned oligarch in the back ground and he should be gone

Club needs a total reset

If kenwright said it was Xmas on 25dec he'd be lieing.

Club needs hope not misery
