Why?

Moshi is worth over £1b, there is no reason for him to be seeking assistance from anyone, least of all a 30% stakeholder in arsenal (who would be prohibited from helping).
if you want me to type a 500 page post detailing the ins and outs of how it would work then i could write for days but i can't be arsed.

in short, usmanov will obviously have to sell his shares in arsenal, he would then acquire the remainder of the shares at everton and moshiri would acquire 0.1 % to become joint owners of the club.

Moshiri is a billionaire but if he invests all his money in a new stadium, players, clearing the debt he will no longer be a billionaire

We have huge potential. We are every bit as successful as Arsenal, historic as in being in the league, trophies won etc. We do not have as wealthy a fan base but I imagine some of that can be overcome by bringing in new supporters/commercial clients for boxes. (the reality is most boxes are filled by businesses who want to associate to your brand).

While London is the capital, it is a very stagnated area. You have two football league teams in the area of Merseyside, which is 1/8 of the size of London. Currently in London you have Spurs, Chelsea, West Ham (when the new Stadium is built) in direct and serious competition.

There are then a plethora of clubs such as Palace, Charlton, QPR, Fulham etc. It may have just been a tactical decision.

Indeed. Wealthy financers do not have to be London focused, Man City a prime example. If the scope is there then the investment will happen.
I would imagine that Moshiri will establish just what level of investment would be required to get us to compete. Indeed most of this will already be established. Hopefully this will bring about a positive outcome on the stadium issue and see us not only hold onto our best players but add to them too. We do not need vast amounts throwing about on players which is good.

Yes but it won't be Usmanov, because he is increasing his shareholding in Arsenal.

Kroenke isnt even entertaining the idea of letting Usmanov have any control or any say for that matter. He's bought Moshiri's shares so he could buy shares here. Usmanov is and will get even more frustrated by Kroenkes unwillingness to involve him.

I don't mean to be media obsessed but why isn't this a headline on sky sport news? When City got bought they did a 15 minute piece on it on the hour and broke it down throughout the hour. I don't watch sky sports since I cancelled my sky digital an opted to stream but just stuck it on a stream. Not even a mention at ten.
city got taken over around transfer deadline day in midweek and went out and spent top dollar on Robinho straight away . And this was in a time when only Chelsea and Pompey had had big money takeovers ( plus when city got bought by the Thai fella)

We've been bought in less dramatic circumstances on a Saturday when a full football fixture , the 6 nations and a big boxing PPV are taking place as well .

Plus city's owners a hell of a lot richer .

also it can't be hard for a billionaire to hire a private chopper to take him to goodison park every now and then.

No mate, I don't need a 500 page post, but I didn't realise you were a football club takeover specialist.

Frankly, there is no suggestion whatsoever that Usmanov will suddenly sell his very recently acquired extra stake in Arsenal to come on board at Everton, and you're chatting nonsense until there is.

Being in London is a huge advantage, make no mistake about that. Certainly when trying to sell boxes to corporate clients that is a massive advantage.

It's not the only advantage though, and it is going to be saturated. Imagine being Arsenal now, having to compete in 3 years against West Ham at the Olympic stadium, Spurs and Chelsea perhaps both in the champions league in the new stadium, in trying to sell boxes? It is quite saturated.
Then there are all the other things external too football in the capital businesses invest in. Rugby matches for one (at Twickenham).

We currently have Liverpool to get past. In spite of them telling us how great they are they are becoming a more provincial club by the day. They've had 1 group stage appearance in the champions league in 6 years.

Slightly further afield you have United who are in a mess currently, or City who we are much bigger than. Irrespective of that with Everton you are starting from a low base that with smart manouvrings can only grow.

usmanov is not even a owner of a club and he's richer than sheikh mansour

although mansour has a ridiculous family fortune.

we are all speculating here lad, get a grip.

the two have worked together for years, so it isn't nonsense to speculate it at all.
