No mate, I don't need a 500 page post, but I didn't realise you were a football club takeover specialist.

Frankly, there is no suggestion whatsoever that Usmanov will suddenly sell his very recently acquired extra stake in Arsenal to come on board at Everton, and you're chatting nonsense until there is.
Whilst you are correct, if ever there was a night for us all to be in high spirits, and 'chatting nonsense ' as you say..

Well tonight is it..

When we wake up in the morning, maybe a little baggy headed, drinking water straight from the bathroom tap..

Everton will still be owned by a billionaire..

Hope we havnt just swapped this fella for Robert Earl, a rich fella doing nothing but give a few sound bites about moving us upwards, while waiting for a return on his investment.
That's what being an Everton fan gets you thinking like, always expecting the worst.

You sound so sure, what is your source for this crystal ball gazing?

May have been The Esk, this morning mentioned how there were talks of Usmanov buying Moshiri's shares so it could fund the purchase of Everton last year.

Despite the purchase of Moshiri's shares, Usmanovs control at Arsenal hasnt changed one bit, he still doesnt & wont have a say. All thats changed is the % he owns in Arsenal.

It seems like the two of them are best buds and do everything together. It is weird that they've separated... maybe the bigger dawg really will come and buy the remaining 50.1% and the two of them are gonna turn us not into the next man city, but the next real madrid.
I might be suspect of wishful thinking.
Tbh if some of the allegations about him are true, would prefer Usmanov to remain at Arsenal and Morshiri look for alternate investment - perhaps one of the other rumoured bidders who didn't want to invest so heavily like the Kansas guys or the Chang owner or even better fans owning part of the club like Swansea.

No idea how practical the last one would be but having genuine fan involvement in the direction of our club would be great.

Usmanov has paid £200m to double his stake I'm arsenal, so clearly he must think it will improve his position.

Id sat Arsenal fans know more about Usmanovs position than us.

I have that feeling in my stomach, like when Lovejoy came on the telly and you knew it was almost time for bed, but it was such a boss programme you forgot about School in the morning, then reality hit you.
It's been such a long time coming, I'm actually scared it's happened.

Maybe but Kroenke isn't giving up control anytime soon. He may move it within his family to concentrate on his ownership of the Rams but I guess Arsenal makes him too much money to hand over control elsewhere. The shares also went to his holding company, not Usmanov personally.

Also having a bigger stake will net him more dough if he is inclined to move on. Gazidis may want them.

Usmanov has been trying for a while to position himself to improve Arsenal's standing in world football - he wants them to keep their best players and when whatever trophies possible. It's likely he'll stay for the foreseeable future.

But what if he has enough of the way they're run and moves elsewhere to some them what he can do in control? I think that's what everyone is hoping and basing theories on.
