Yes mate. A no mark manager who's won nothing and is about to be kicked out by a relegated club is the superior to a trophy winning manager who delivered our record number of PL season wins and points and whose in charge of one of the most talented group of players in world football.

Yes Dave, he really, really is vastly superior to that laughable charlatan. The only ex Everton manager Martinez is competing with is Mike Walker for the worst ever Everton manager award and in typical Martinez style he doesn't even come first in that!

I would be amazed if any club out of the PL and championship would go anywhere near him when Sunderland see sense and sack him..
You could get any man on the street or in the stands to serve up better football than that..

Awful that. Any manager who doesn't have the guts to face the fans after they've destroyed (or destroying) a club is a total coward. To think that Sunderland sacked him with one game to go just to avoid the rosting he derserved off the fans! Oh wait a min...............:coffee:

I reckon Short will keep him. Not cos hes any good, but he wont want to pay him off. Sell the club, and let a new owner do it.

Depends on how organised and motivated the fans are. They can get him out this summer if they organise a boycott of season tickets.

And let;s face it, Short will have to sack him if he stayed on anyway early next season. He'll get no cash for new players and the best of this lot will be away and they'll get mullered in the Championship....then he'll have to be paid off.

Best detoxify now and pay him off.
