We can still go down to 9th though next week, had we won, the lowest we would have been would be 5th. I like having a safety net of 2 points.

Shame we were so wasteful.
True but we got sunderland at home next week. Both arse and spurs play in europe and I think think spurs have city next week. Im remaining positive. Our performance was top notch. They got a lucky 1st goal and a seamus coleman(who had a superb game) learning curve for the 2nd. Any other day it would have been a cricket score.

Yes, in this case it is his fault. No reason to take off all of our attacking options and sit back when we were controlling the match. Remember the adage, offence is the best form of defence. You don;t have to have followed Everton for long to know that when we park the bus, we forget to close the windows.

We didn't concede the goal because 'we sat back' - we conceded because we gave the ball away in a stupid area of the pitch.

Your argument would be very valid if after Moyes took off Jelavic they had us under constant pressure, but they didn't, they scored because of a mistake.

How can people blame Moyes? We got enough chances to win the game and it was Coleman who caused us.

Moyes gets the blame the same way he gets the credit when we win, its the way football is.

How many people would have thought that when they saw Distin coming on for Jelavic that it was a needless sub? Plenty i;d have thought. We didn't need an extra defender in there are surprise surprise they go and score.

Doesn't matter why or who caused it, its just typical that despite having 37 billion chanes that Everton as a team under the leadership of Moyes still concede a **** goal to go behind and then concede a **** goal to finish level.

There are bigger issues than simply this one game.

Some proper knee-jerking on here. We battered them for the most part of the game, created 26 chances, roughly one every three and a half minutes, yet it's apparently Moyes fault for making a late substitution. Mirallas did well to last 80 mins considering earlier in the week he was expected to be out for 4-6 weeks with a busted foot.

Goals win games, and youve got to bag a good percentage of the chances you create....and we didn't. Moyes didn't miss the chances, but he managed the team that did, and also the team that created z26 chances.

Such a bloody shame that, Seamus Coleman. Belter game from him and then he goes and costs us that goal at the end. Moyes will probably have his head for that now.

if we dont put the mackems to the sword next weekend, then there is a problem. cant see anything but a straightforward win though. at least the unbeaten run continues.

No fault today - just pure & simple bad luck.

On another day we win by about five goals. Everything was right - tactics, mindset... we just couldn't stick the ball in enough.

If you're going to blame one person for the sake of it, it'd clearly be Jelavic who was poor again, but that's it. Overall, we played really well, should have won, didn't.

No reason to fume.

Thought Pienaar had a poor game. Do blame Moyes a bit though, why change the whole shape with minutes to go? Didn't take our chances, complete waste.

Yup. Good post.

it was unlucky. but we are fourth ahead of 3 very winnable fixtures. 9 points from the next 3 games is very possible and there is no reason for us to have our heads down after that result. the way we keep battling back from behind is very impressive (obviously not the conceding first part). we are very capable of 9 points from 3 games now

Oh ffs get a grip.

Gutting as it was to lose a late goal, we were playing a quality side with a great home record & we battered them.

We're sat in 4th place & you'd think we were in the bottom 3 reading this.

I'll leave you to your fume "ffs Moyes" x1000 posts.

You can **** off; Moyes is a ****ing stupid idiot. Why take off Mirallis, and that stupid move bring on Distin was telling Fulham we are going to defend now, you can just come and attack us...and as for the Naismith chance, if that had fallen to Mirallis, it's a goal. so take your ****ing stupid logic and sarcasm and go do one...Moyes is a prick...
