Nkounkou was initially signed for the u23s so would not have been managed by Ancelotti anyway.
Hopefully we sign a manager who develops him and other young players.
I was torn with Gordon but as with Davies i left him there for Depth.
I think we have to sign a manager who will develop him. We are well and truly stuffed and youth will be a vital part of the route out.

Nkounkou and Small are very talented and I think we are set on the leftside for awhile. The rightside is a lot more up in the air, as it has been for awhile. Seamus has maybe one more season at the 'top' level for us then he definitely shouldn't start anymore, and it looks like Marcel is trying to bring in a new young RB for us like Max Aarons or Denzel Dumfries. As far as youth go we have Kyle John but he's not really anywhere close to first team football, so Brands can maybe go after another youth product similar to Nkounkou.

With the manager gone, I'd be much more open to a real clearout of 5 or 6 in addition to the OOCs that could even include James, though I don't think they really happen any more.
I'm just looking forward to Everton having a right back and a midfield next season. I don't see why we shouldn't be at least in that position by August as it'd only take a couple of (decent) signings. It's been painful watching Coleman, Holgate, Davies and Gomes playing in those positions regularly.

Pretty spot on to me although I’d be inclined to keep Keane and move Holgate on. He just seemed too much of a liability last season and Keane is better in the air.

If you take the quality out of the equation it looks like a well balanced squad. I would say a after the goalkeeper a minimum of 7 one in outs is needed but if 15 is probably what is actually required. Also wouldn't surprise me if we lost 1 or 2 we actually want to keep.
