Sharpy came down as a young lad & got home sick - Gordon Lee masterminded his emergence after signing him - McMahon as a local lad & you could tell he was going to be a great player, but he had other ideas -We’ve had boyhood Evertonians who have gone wrong,could name plenty of them going all the way back to McMahon,I guess even legends can disappoint us now too.

You have to blame the un -dynamic duo at the top to see how they nearly ruined our great club - if i ever bumped into Sharpy, I would shake his hand & thank him for his playing days ....
