im really not sure what he is trying to achieve by staying on now?!

if he stays on the ballott then rest of party need to unite behind one candidate, who tho? no-one obvious

The noise of petulance and political rattles hitting the floor is deafening.

Those jumping ship are welcome to do so. They can also leave the labour party and form their own that can have its own constitution whereby the decisions are taken by representatives of whoever with no mandate from anyone and mix with the Westminster cognoscenti and charm business people.

I'll stick with the democratic principle if that's ok?

I agree, berthed in Bristol

Which is where Corbyn should be berthed......all jokes apart though, I did say right at the beginning that Corbyn would be a disaster for the Labour Party and it's going to take a very strong politician to put it back together again......

I think you should lead the Labour Party, you seem to be great at predictions, in fact I haven't seen you claim to have got one wrong yet!

I agree with you regarding the democratic principle rather than the backstabbing currently going on. But the man is a disaster though........

i thought...he may come in try and re-engage with left wing politics for a while and then resign on principle, but he's shown himself to have no principles at all..

This isn't just a coup against Corbyn, it is against the (increasingly supportive) membership, it is against the protocols and principles of the party and denounces the democratic process. If they want to detach from that, fair enough, but this is a pre planned and organised event using the very lame accusation of brexit as an excuse.
It also deflects from their own importance and their own association however relative with Blair pre Chilcott.
