We have been left behind. Every other team has spent better, been better managed with better ownership
Teams that were usually poorer than us in every sense have become better, whilst we have become worse
We are right in the mix now

We have some good players, we have some wonderful young players, we all know we are missing a striker, our confidence is shot. We are in a bad place at the moment but we will get through it........Sunday will tell us......

Has anyone noticed the amount of times we have conceded 3 in one half of football in 2017 ? it's happened twice in Europa and twice in the prem this season, home to Chelsea late last season and even the 6-3 at home to Bournemouth they got all them in the 2nd half.
I can't remember an Everton team that continually capitulates in games like this ,even under Mike Walker we managed to win a couple of games 6-2 and 4-2 (Swindon and Chelsea), so yes this is the worst since our last relegation in the 50s.

At least in the 90s you felt the team had fight. This lot are feeble. I just can't see anyone stopping this slide to be honest.

In the 90s it was post 80s so the players played with fight and pride knowing what Everton once was. This lot in this generation of players don't give a toss. The 80s is the stone age to them and half them probably think they are better than the club and aspire to be elsewhere although they certainly don't play like it.

We were living off fumes of a great history but now it's dead and flat. We will need a great manager and a constant flow of cash if we want to be aspiring towards to top... and maybe sack everyone remotely responsible for not replacing Lukaku.

think this is the first time I've thought we're going down...even the last game against wimbledon in 94 I knew we'd stay up, couldn't get in the ground and the pubs on County Road were in silence, till that third goal went in then silence again till the full time whistle...

This shows psychologically their heads are totally gone, and are playing in a state of panic. I'd actually take Allardyce right now.

For me not our worst but on expectations and build up with new gaffer, owners, stadium plans et al, the optimism felt by me and my local Toffee mates has been purely and simply dismantled week by week game by game. For the first time in my near 50 years I am not sure where our direction will come from, where our goals will come from and how this reflects on our GREAT CLUB, I'm hurting and absolutely gutted. I will never ever give up on my Club though they are my blood and all my family since our forming in 1878. Yes things have been worse but they could actually get much worse.

Come on Everton

It's been far worse than this, in terms of overall play and general being in the game. There has been era's where we've just been hammered game after game and never looked like competing, this team compete's but then the biggest weakness shows.

Mentally this is the worst side we've possibly ever had. When we concede it's game over and you can predict we'll concede a couple more on top of it.

We've had unbalanced teams in the past take Moyes era with Fellaini and Cahill playing up top, the huge difference being they were characters who would fight regardless of score, this lot if we go 1-0 down its just resignation, accepting we aint scoring and then dropping pants to concede a few more.

'Passion' is meaningless. Ashley Williams showed passion when he got into that fight but it didn't win us a game. Screaming and yelling and pointing at the badge and getting into fights won't do jack. Give me a level-headed player over a player who can't keep his temper any day.

Most of the players don't care about Everton. There is no loyalty in football. Barkley doesn't care. Rooney didn't either. They're boyhood blues. What have they got to be proud of anyway, how can you be proud of a team doing badly?
Wrong.....You would fit into this side comfortably
