Decision to be made regarding Harrison is interesting, 15m seems reasonable as he has played well but I think we need more speed in the wide areas. Interesting that Dobbin seems to be ahead of Danjuma in the pecking order.

I agree with everything you’ve said re: Zat wanting us to field an under 21s team of high ceiling players who may or may not make the grade… a strategy of madness.

However I CBA checking who the spurs goalie is… is he any use? Also isn’t that Onana at Manure been absolute pony? Likewise Raya not being great at Arsenal?

Despite what I’m saying, I agree no one will want to buy Pickford who could afford him.

And I’d hope we’d price most teams out the mkt for him anyway.

Think he'd have improved Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea and United. It's only City and Liverpool who wouldnt benefit from having him I think in the PL.

Tella was on loan. He went back to Southampton then was sold to Leverkusen.

Yes I know, Burnley's issue was they got sniffy about him not being good enough for them in the PL. They then tried a cringeworthy attempt to unsettle him (Free Nathan Tella!) to get him at knock down fee. Saints said pee off and sold him to Germany for approx twice what Burnley offered.

Burnley's owners are an odd lot, even by the strange standards of British footy.

Jonathan Rowe looks a great prospect in the championship (Norwich). Someone will likely take a punt on him and his value will shoot up.
I was always a fan of going after the top championship prospects - Cahill back in the day, Maddison, Olise, Eze more recently. Unfortunately for us, a "punt" these days is normally £20m+ for a highly rated championship player.

The new strategy for young players should be looking at the 18-20 Yr old prospects at City, Chelsea, arsenal etc who won't be breaking into their 1st teams anytime soon and want game time.

I advocated for him for a long time on here that he would have been the perfect signing, quite a few posters said they thought he wasn't good enough (load of nonsense imo) I saw something on a Cov page and someone had been talking to one of his mates and he was desperate to try himself out in Europe. It's a shame as he would have been perfect for the way we seem to be playing at the moment.
