To the palace fans. Not a rhetorical or even looking down on your club but how many people are queuing up to buy his 45%?

He has got to sell that before he even thinks about putting a £ in to Everton.

This, if it has legs, may take a while.
I would have thought that Palace will have plenty of investors interested in buying a share in the club, not sure how long they have been in the premier league for now but they are a steady premier league team and seem to have a good youth set up, some good players at Palace at the minute. The other thing is they are also a London club which I’m sure will attract investors, I’m sure I read something about them potentially redeveloping Selhurst park as well, whether that happens or not is a different thing.

Im not convinced they are that attractive, if they were, Textor wouldnt need to use Evertons name to drum up interest.

Yeah, I mean Textor is bailing cos hes the largest shareholder and doesnt have to a say.

Im sure some people like being a chocolate fireguard, but its certainly something that might put people off.
That’s really the crux of it. He has 45% I think , but only 25% voting rights and they won’t let him buy a controlling interest. So Palace is not really that attractive proposition to buy his share as people believe. He could be stuck with his shares for some time unless he takes a haircut on his investment. Any MSP “ temporary” deal with him waiting in the wings could take some time to complete and become another 777 drawn out fiasco. Or he could be using us as a stalking horse “ I’m taking my money elsewhere Palace …..but if you want to give me full control..”

Yeah I agree, I mean the fella himself said he doesnt think he can make it work.

When somebody says something, we should probably believe them.

As "exciting" as all this is, until he sells his Palace shares hes about as useful as that fella in a bedsit in Manchester.

Sounds like an easy mistake but he should have looked into it a bit more before buying a crystal palace in London

I think Textor will be picking the 777 bid bones, there is some dough in there somewhere and letting people there know that he will have some dough, come and join him. Otherwise there is absolutely no point in mentioning his interest in Everton.

Do you know how long hes been "unhappy" has he said anything before regarding selling up?
