It wasn't even given as a foul.
Really? I remeber seeing it and everyone saying it should have been a red, I just assumed it must have been a yellow , not , not even a foul.

In regards to the Wolves one I think it was an understandable mistake in judgement. He took a half-step to his left, and couldn't get back. It's not a Karius-level clanger.
The drop against S'ton was a lot worse, and it was a poor attempt - no excuses made. But he recovered from it, luckily for him and us.
And okay, I agree on your last point but he's also made two great saves that have won us points in the last two games as well...
And if he fingertips the Wolves one over the bar we'll all sit here talking about what a magnificent save it is and how he's won us the points. That's the rub, the good things get noticed and so do the bad. He made a really good one on one save at Wolves and a really good recovery save against Southampton which he gets praise for, and mistakes in both games which people point out too. You can't have one without the other, but for some reason some people don't seem to like any criticism going Pickford's way. It's like he gets a totally free pass off some just because he wasn't as bad as some of the others last year.I wouldn't even call it a mistake, just bad luck. Keepers are always moving and anticipating where the ball is going to go because that split second advantage they gain will more often then not mean the difference between tipping a shot over the bar/round the post or into the side of the goal instead. Pickford tried to second guess Neves and unfortunatly it cost him, compared to the numerous times where he'll make the save but that little movement will go unnoticed.
Like on Sat, in the 79th minute Southampton get a free kick down our tight about 12 yards out and Ward-Prowse whips it in to the far post. But rather than standing static about halfway along his line Pickford reads it and starts moving to his right before it's kicked. When it is he can then make an easy save by getting a strong wrist to it, as opposed to having to urgently scramble over to try and reach it.
No chance the England number one is picking up red cards!!Really? I remeber seeing it and everyone saying it should have been a red, I just assumed it must have been a yellow , not , not even a foul.

No I wouldn’t include you in that mate, I think you’re an honest poster. There are definitely some though, just in general I mean, not specific to GOT, who are very black and white with their views on players and won’t accept any deviance from a pre defined idea of who’s good and who’s not.I don't think it's that
I just don't agree with people saying he's 'not good enough', which is utter tripe.

Woah I thought I entered the Gylfi threadYou mean some folk plant a flag on what their opinion will be, and then twist and turn every nano second of a players performance to "prove" their pre disposed opinion?
Surely not.
Definitely not. And the Gylfi thread is NOT an example of that either. You mean some folk plant a flag on what their opinion will be, and then twist and turn every nano second of a players performance to "prove" their pre disposed opinion?
Surely not.
His 'best of' album was Ok but I think he is a Trump supporter.Garth Crooks has put him in his Team of the Week.
He also says "I just hope Everton fans treat Silva better than they treated Allardyce."
A man of shrewd judgement is Garth.
Wrong! He got nothing. Wasn't even a foul. Goal kick was the decision.Pretty sure that keeper only got a yellow for that, Germany has produced some seriously good teams , but, they get an awful lot of big calls go there way in massive important games . They’re the Man U of international footy.
