Just seen the 3rd goal again, it’s really bad. He needs to stop trying that stupid scoop thing and just focus on getting his hands/feet to the shot and stopping it.

Not going in on him as hard and as vicious as most of our fans who are dying for players to fail so they can be dead funny on an Internet forum, but he’s in poor form at the minute, there’s no point trying to cover it up. I’ve seen enough of him to know how good he’ll be though.

All that World Cup praise has played with his head, way too egotistical

how can you know this? He looks confident I agree which is what you want in a keeper....if he was timid and lacked confidence he'd soon get slated for that so he cant win can he. The only problem he has is he's making mistakes at the moment which he needs to cut out, hopefully he doesn't start to doubt himself because of what ppl say about him on forums and in the papers

You can tell his confidence is affecting his performance in a negative way by the stupid moves he made yesterday.

Current PL GKs better than Billy Big Bollocks:

De Gaa
Courtois
Alison
Schmeichel
Pope
Cech
Leno
McCarthy
Bravo
Kepa
Butland

Pickford on the same level as Hennessy, Fabianksi, Ospina.

Conceded an outrageous amount for someone at his career stage.

I would argue below Fabianski in terms of current form and performance, but not potential.

The rest, fully agree.

I think all of them have a better attitude than Pickford. His demeanour is very much like Joe Hart's. I know GKs are, or usually are, strong characters, but there's a big diference between being a dominant personality who gets the job done and being conceited and letting the team down.

I would say he has a very very big season ahead of him now. If he keeps this lack of professionalism up he will see an eventual challenge at Everton, and then his beloved England will have a decision to make. It's fair to say he wants to play for his country much more than he wants to play for Everton, so maybe if he starts losing his starting place for them he'll knuckle down here.

Basically he needs to stop acting like he's a success - because he isn't.

He was in the press saying he'd never do anything like what Allison did and there he is kicking it straight to opponents.

It's needless comments like those that will come back and bite you in sport. He looks like he's overconfident bordering on arrogant and that needs nipped in the bud. Do your job and cut out the fuss and theatrics.

Absolute crazy pass the second goal. Why doesn’t he hoof it if he can’t find someone to pass it, safely?

...bordering on couldn't give a flying one I'd say.

He sees playing for us as a nuisance he has to go through between England games.

We should have sold him in the summer if that Chelsea bid was true.

100% agree

I'd say also that retaining Stekelenburg and not getting a good GK to keep Pickford on his toes was another massive mistake of the summer window. It's sent out the message to him that he's undroppable. That cant be right in any position, most crucially of all though in THAT position.

How good is that young GK we brought from Arsenal? He cant be worse than what Pickford showed yesterday, can he?

Well, I doubt he's ready to step up. A better bet would have been to get someone with experience like Pope. I'm sure Pope before his injury would have swapped a a fight for a start at a bigger club than the one he has now with Butland.
