1. I have and still am a big fan of him.
2. He is only 24
3. I do see his faults. This backflip action he tends to do is a bit like doing the high jump. He did it last night for their first goal. Not sure whether its over dramatics.
4. There is a fine line between arrogance and confidence. In his case i think its confidence.
5. I can sort of see the clown references. But i think its just his character. He seems as mad as a box of frogs.

So what does that make him?
One of the best young goalies around. Im sure he will mature into one of the best weve had. He is still as good as anything in the Premier league. Even deGea makes mistakes

Personally I would prefer....

A good keeper making spectacular saves look good....
Not a spectacular keeper making good saves look spectacular...

If you believe in Jordan he will believe in himself. If you tell him he is the world's greatest goalkeeper then he definitely will be. This is a proven fact...

When has he made spectacular mistakes for us? Struggling here.

Didn't say he had...
Just making the point about his character...
He was very fortunate not to give a penalty away last night & would have looked very foolish...

Would like to see him more dominant from corners & commanding his six yard box...
Gets too excited & rushes out of his goal, needs to make better judgement calls...

Anybody notice how many times de Gea put the ball into touch by clearing his lines when under pressure, hence losing possesion? Yes, Jordan got very very lucky last night, but the first goal was down to him trying, and succeding, to play from the back.

He finds a team mate with thoase passes maybe 1 in 3 times.

Is it worth it to be 'brave' as his idiot manager calls that type of GK play?
I don't know how you arrived at it, but finding a teammate 1 time in 3 with long passes is a good percentage for a goalkeeper.

Tim Howard was an accomplished GK when he joined Everton. He wasn't as good as Martyn or Southall, but not many are. He was a better GK than this erratic lad we have now.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I've never seen him win a game for us by being unbeatable. Never seen him having one of those matches when he just cant be passed.
In literally his first game he won it for us with a save in the last second against Shaqiri

There are some weak areas we need to improve in our team that we need to improve on but Pickford is far from being one of them and he's only going to get better
