What about those two brilliant saves he pulled off to ensure we won at Anfield last year?

He's been consistent for the past year now. He doesn't act up in the big games anymore. It's been blatantly noticeable.

He's not amazing but if we stay up he isn't a problem and , if we stay up, nobody is offering what his value is so we wouldn't be selling him.

At an empty ground. First thing he had to do the other day was pick the ball out the net after diving the wrong way from a weakish header.

I don't think he's a problem by the way for the most part but his head goes in this fixture and against Newcastle with the crowd on his back.

Not fussed if he goes. Been here 4/5 years now and ive never warmed to him in terms of feeling confident he's between the sticks. To be fair he's cut out the regular errors. But he doesnt command the box and even though the defenders in front of him are not any good he doesnt fill them with confidence either. Pulls off the odd worldy. But to erratic for me.

Dont think he'll have great offers even if we get relegated either. I cant see a club that are contenders for major honours going near him.

Given the

Given the World Cup in December, will JP be prepared to risk his England place?
Yeah I don't know mate we'll just have to see.

It's not that I'd be devastated to lose him. I think he'll need to go, I just don't see who buys him for what we'd hope for

Mate Coleman and Gray left a man unmarked on the edge of the six-yard box and you're blaming the GK

I've been watching a keeper who has improved this year, but one that still doesn't fill me with confidence and I feel the defence is the same. He still rushes out at times then realises he has to go back. He still has the inability to dominate his 6 yard box. Still punches when he should catch and vice versa. I felt more confident when the 2nd choice keeper was between the sticks
Do you remember when Begovic somehow conceded an OG despite having his entire front post covered?
