I think if that Barnes goal goes in mate, we capitulate ala Burnley away and we don't pick up the points.

That 10 minute spell with the 3 saves were absolutely vital and ot actually galvanised the lads I think then to dig just as deep and see the game out.

Oh, absolutely. Not saying they weren’t important, but it just gets my back up when reports basically say we would have been battered were it not for our keeper. I’d say we deserved to beat Leicester on the balance of play but you’d never know that from the reports!!

I wanted Pickford before we were linked.

Always liked him but did admittedly waver a few times when he had bad spells.

He's playing brilliantly. Can he continue to play at this level for the next 5 or 6 sessons to take him to 33/34 ?

Will he sign an extension to his 2 year contract?

Its actually the right time to sell with him being 28 and performing brilliantly...optimal transfer value.

Going to be interesting to see what happens with him.

It looked better for the cameras but as a keeper of sorts myself I can’t tell you how difficult it is to get down low to a shot from 5 yards out that’s come through a crowd of bodies. He had absolutely no right to get a hand on that let alone shovel it round the post. It was the best save I’ve seen from him.

He’s been excellent for us. When he had his blip it was the same time as he had a new born baby

I think there are options out there for instance Man utd de gea is full of mistakes Pickford is definitely an improvement on him. I do think sometimes that we do some of our players down far too much (our better ones that is) how much we can get for him is another matter and one that if we avoid relegation shouldn't be entertained unless he doesn't sign an extension.

He would not be accepted by their fan base. Keeper will be far down the United priorities

Pickford plays well every 4 games or so. Pope is a steady influence on his defence and commands his penalty box.

To me, our biggest loss in recent years, his break up play and tackle's won stats were the best in the league, although shyte we were less shyte with Gana !!!
