Listening to Everton fans is probably the worst way of finding out how good/bad a player is.
Everything is to the extremes on every single player, no average or middle ground, each player is either a world beater or a championship, more often than not the same player will be called both within a month.

His best games always seem to be games we lose anyway where he keeps the score down. You can probably count on one hand the amount of times he’s dug us out and earned us points on his own since he’s been here. Chelsea away this season was one of them, probably his best game for us to be fair. He’s been a disappointing signing overall imo.

Why have opposition fans when you have fans like ours, some as ever are truly ridiculous comments in here, all this you can count on one hand thing and the other stuff is just plain stupid and everyone knows it, ive said it before blame him for real proper errors not just have a moan at him because you hate him or say he should do this or that on wonder goals that he has no chance with but people act as tough he should save easy, The press have a go at him because they want a new English keeper in the internationals-and that is all i will say as always because its very Tedious lol

If they’re picking on England form then Pickford is first name on the team sheet, he has been faultless for England in two major tournaments now, and more than that has actually made big saves in knockout games and shoot outs. There’s just no way Southgate is dropping that sort of potential for a keeper from Arsenal or Burnley who are making just as many errors as Pickford (if not even more) for their premier league teams.
Ramsdale is the media’s chosen one though because he plays for a top 6 team and it frankly annoys them if any Everton player plays for England.
Remember when they pressured Capello into taking Stephen Warnock, Upson and Carragher over Jagielka Lescott and Baines for the 2010 World Cup. That was moronic.
Then in 2014 World Cup when they stitched the whole thing on Baines and Jagielka ‘we wouldn’t have gone out if we’d had Terry and Cole instead’ when it was Gerrard playing through balls to Suarez which put us out.
2016 Ross Barkley was key in getting them to those Euros only to find that his place had been taken overnight because Dele Alli and Eric Dier were playing well for Spurs.
Even in 2018 they massacred Pickford for not saving Januzaj’s shot in a dead rubber game.
They’ve never liked Everton players turning out for England apart from Rooney because they knew he’d be off immediately. Pickford is just an annoyance to them, he’d be a hero in any other nation after what he’s done in the past two tournaments. Not here though with our London centric kopite infested media.

Of course its the lot of them. But he isnt blameless and ive never thought he gives out confidence to those in front of him. Which is part of the problem. Defenders will never ever be at ease if you have no faith in the keeper behind you.
Pickford has more or less made me feel nervous watching him at Everton since day one. Apart from that spell i mentioned above when he was getting help.

He's statistically bad and the statistics very much do account for this. I don't mean just like goals allowed or clean sheets, but dig a little and it isn't pretty.
I mean you can also just look at goals allowed and clean sheets, or use your eyes when the next low pass goes through him somehow.
