I actually don't think this is correct mate, you meant to write first team not academy as no one would be stupid enough to actually buy these players for the premier leagueCan they prove its not happening?

Are the ones you've crossed out the ones that are absolutely still here next year? To sell a player you need a willing buyer and it's like you've gone through the squad and crossed out the ones who wouldn't be touched by anyone.
They’re people I would try very hard to shift/pay off.
‘allegedly’He needs to sort out the fact that scouts and staff at the academy are taking backhanders from parents to get there little cherubs a place in the set up . The club makes me sick at all levels . We are the worst run club in the league from top to bottom .
His contract is until 2024 according to the OS.Just noticed Virginia on your list. From what I can see, he is a free agent in June, so I doubt he's coming back from Sporting.

No doubt about that but their performance to wages ratio will make a few near impossible to shift. They’re people I would try very hard to shift/pay off.
Must be the easiest job in the world being Evertons performance analysis manager
Picture the scene
Lampard storms into maccavennies office after another 5-0 drubbing, "wtf macca, tell me what's going on with this shower of crap"
"Well Frank", says macca in his authoritive yet trustworthy voice "I've crunched the numbers, computed the fractions, worked the percentages, subtracted the odds, divided the skilll versus pressure and set it against goals scored, chances created and shots conceded from outside the box and the results are in".
"What's the results macca????"
"I can confirm we are absolutely crap" maccavennie says.
"Great work macca" Frank's says with a face of admiration and appreciation...."Bill's in the canteen, tell him Frank sent ya for a pay rise you absolute performance analysing legend".
He is "nails" though!I’ve heard he’s not so good on crosses that Jesus lad.
That is true but what Thelwell needs to do is get these players agents in and explain to them that their client has no future with the club and it's within their best interests (for the sake of their career) to find them a new club. A good agent will do this, at the end of the day they are going to make money from any future transfer. A bad agent won't help their player and will tell them to sit tight regardless of if they are playing and you would question the player and the agent then tbh.No doubt about that but their performance to wages ratio will make a few near impossible to shift.
Someone like Holgate might be moveable. His age, nationality and relative PL experience might appeal as a relatively low cost gamble for a lower PL/Championship club or even a club looking to boost homegrown squad members for lower tier European competition. Coleman *maybe* would appeal at the other end of the scale. Perceived as an experienced leader who can "do a job". Gomes could perhaps end up back in Portugal but it wouldn't be a deal that helps the clubs finances much.
But there are a lot of busted flushes there who offer absolutely nothing and are contractually overvalued.
Pickford, Gordon, Allan, Doucore, DCL, Richarlison, Gray and perhaps Mina are probably the few assets we have at the moment that could genuinely appeal to other clubs as being worth investing a decent portion of a transfer budget in. Some more than others and the likes of Mina are not going to command big money. They're the pool of players that will fund transfers in which will then hopefully limit opportunities for underperforming players enough to frustrate them into taking those less financially rewarding moves further down the line.
Decisions probably won't be made until the relegation battle is done with. There could be a player or two that will thrive in the Championship and artificially inflate their market value based on that which could be a better option than cutting them loose on a near free or loss making deal this summer if we do go down.
Spot on.His number 1 focus, whatever happens in the last 11 games, is to move on as many players as possible. Lots of these players are now further into contracts and have less value on our books. That means lowering our asking prices, being open to offers on pretty much every player, and doing everything we can to find new buyers. If the only offers on the table are low offers, then we need to suck it up for certain players and take the money.
There can't be anymore excuses. We need a complete overhaul and it can be done. It's not without risk, but the riskiest thing we can do is give more chances to a lot of these players.
