Last Film You Watched

An Irish film called 'The Hit List'.

Anyone here seen it? It was recommended to me ages ago, and I finally got around to seeing it.

I was not expecting that! The plot takes an insane twist towards the end!
Messed up, but I enjoyed it!

The new Jurassic Park film… decent enough watch, plot line is basically Jurassic park plot lines

Watched it last night in the Cineworld in Spend retail, great looking Cinema, great looking film, but left the Cinema feeling kind of empty, film was too "nice " , poor story line for me, great looking Dinosaurs though.

Yeah I hear you, Jurassic park storyline is basically the same throughout all the films but with a different angle of how the dinosaurs break free and eat people

Yeah I mean don't get me wrong, I do love them kind of films, would have liked to see more of that feathered Dinosaurs on the ice, really vicious. Also that huge Dinosaur in the forest, killing animals/ Dinosaurs and seemed to be a plant eater.

Rewatched Donnie Darko, absolute masterpiece in my book, 10/10. Jake Gyllenhaal is probably my favourite actor though so that might bias me a bit. Maggie G also puts in a great shift, forgot that she was an absolute smokeshow in her younger days too.

Possibly his best film and a cracking soundtrack too.

One of the all time ultimate head benders !

One of my all-time favourites too. I always go with the theatrical cut these days, as the director's cut just doesn't do it for me.

And tying in with the above: Killing Moon over Never Tear Us Apart, every time. No contest. The version that starts with INXS just feels off and weird.

When Joy Division come on towards the end of the film it’s just perfect. For me, it’s rare that music (a song I mean, not a score written for a film) elevates a scene and seems tailor made, but that’s one.

And aye it’s a real thinker, it works a lot of ambiguous threads without giving you many concrete answers, but having thought about it a lot I’m satisfied with the ending/plot. The fact I don’t understand it completely adds to the appeal somehow though.

They’re filming a sequel right now.

It’ll be a tough one to do, due to it having one of the most ambiguous endings off all time.

There’ll never be a right or wrong way to interpret it !

Really?! With Jakey boy in it?!

It'll definitely be another mind trip! It'll be interesting to see what direction they take.
